Jo joined CPotential as CEO in 2015.
She has worked in the field of disability rights for 16 years. As a solicitor specialising in education and discrimination law, she acted on behalf of many disabled children, young people and adults.
More recently she worked as an independent consultant for a range of clients including the Equality and Human Rights Commission, the NHS and Cerebra. She has published extensively in the field and is a former Chair of the Law Society’s Mental Health and Disability Committee.
Jo read History at Cambridge University and later completed an MSc in Disability Rights in Work and Rehabilitation at City University and a Post-Compulsory PGCE at University College London Institute of Education. In a voluntary capacity, Jo is a governor of a free school in Islington for pupils with special educational needs.
