Last week we were super lucky to have a special visitor – none other than singer-songwriter Sophie Ellis Bextor.

You may have caught Sophie throughout lockdown with her fabulously fun Kitchen Disco, or perhaps remember her songs such as ‘Murder on the Dancefloor‘ or from appearing on Strictly Come Dancing with Brendan Cole back in 2013.

BBC Children in Need logoWell, this year, Sophie is focusing on her book launch ‘Spinning Plates: Music, Men, Motherhood and Me’ and supporting BBC Children in Need with her Radio 2 show.

Sophie visited CPotential to interview staff, the children and their parents and find out more about living with a disability and how CPotential and BBC Children in Need funding have helped them.

You can catch some short audio clips of the visit on Radio 2 throughout the BBC Children in Need Appeal on Friday 19th November.

With thanks to our BBC Children in Need funding, we are able to continue doing what we do to help children and young people reach their potential.
