CPotential is a registered disability charity that has been seeing potential in children since 1963.

The Vision is that people with movement disorders are empowered to reach their potential.

At CPotential, we offer a wide range of integrated rehabilitation services and support for babies, children and young people who have movement disorders due to conditions such as cerebral palsy, global developmental delay or acquired brain injury.

Many of the children we work with also have related difficulties such as learning disabilities or sensory processing and/or communication.

The Mission is to be the champion in unlocking potential in children and young adults with movement disorders by 2027.

The sooner we act, the greater the impact.

Our rehabilitation services are child-focused, play-based and fun, with our expert clinicians carrying out multidisciplinary assessments and setting combined goals to help children and young people reach their full potential. By addressing their needs as early as possible we can help your child gain the vital skills they need as they grow older.

We are a one-stop shop offering a range of additional holistic support for parents, carers and families, by signposting to experts in wellbeing, counselling and legal, financial, educational advice, and fundraising guidance.

We create a warm, supportive, fun and interactive environment at our Centre in Muswell Hill, north London, and love to celebrate each child’s achievement.

Our holistic therapies can improve your child’s:

  • Mobility, independence and quality of life
  • Body awareness and sensory processing
  • Communication skills
  • Interaction and engagement
  • Muscle strength and balance
  • Social and emotional development
  • Functional and self-care skills for everyday activities, such as walking, dressing and eating.

Overall, CPotential is a friendly, welcoming and positive place where you can share ideas and concerns. We strongly encourage parents and carers to come and take part in the sessions with their children. In this way, you can understand how your child learns and gain the skills and confidence to continue learning at home with outcomes benefiting the whole family.

Full assistance is available on the accessibility and affordability of our services, so please get in touch below to find out more.
