Some highlights from our 50+ years supporting disabled children and young people:

1963 – Peter Rigby, the Mayor of Hornsey, set up The Hornsey Trust as a day centre for young adults with learning disabilities

1988 – The Hornsey Trust changed its name to the Conductive Education Centre, offering conductive education for children with cerebral palsy

1991 – We became a registered independent school

1999 – Our school achieved Department for Children, Schools and Families approved status for children up to Key Stage 1

2007 – We extended school provision to Key Stage 2

2009 – We changed our name to the London Centre for Children with Cerebral Palsy (LCCCP)

2015 – We moved to our current Coppetts Road site

2016 – We launched our Milkshake Tree Appeal to raise funds to extend the Centre and services

2017 – We changed our name to CPotential to better reflect our aims to support more disabled children achieve their potential

2017 – We renamed our school Woodstar School
