We have taken every care to comply with the World Wide Web Consortium (W3C) Web Content Accessibility Guidelines 2.0. accessibility standards. Compliance with these guidelines will help make the web more user friendly for everyone.
The site has been hand-coded using HTML/CSS/JS, using semantic and modern techniques to ensure best performance means any future browsers will also display it correctly.
Browser legacy
Whilst every care has been made to make every viewing experience the same, browser experiences may differ from each other. This website uses the most current technologies and is not suited to older browsers, which are out of support. These include, but are not limited to, Internet Explorer 9 and below.
The CPotential website has been tested on all common modern browsers and devices, e.g. Chrome, Firefox and Safari.
Our content
All website content has been created and formatted to make it accessible. For example:
- Use of proper heading, sub-heading and paragraph tags
- Sentences are short and concise
- Links and Buttons are visible, meaningful and correctly sized
- Forms can be navigated via the tab key
- All images have a meaningful alt tag and description
- The site scales to your browser’s font size.
Getting the best experience
- Skipping to main content
If you’re using a screen reader or keyboard, use the ‘Skip to content’ link at the top of every page to skip the navigation and get to the content quickly. - Making the text bigger
You can change the text size in your browser, and the site will scale to accommodate. See here on how to do it - Using Screen Readers
We have tested this site using various screen reading apps. This will strip any unnecessary design and non-content from the site, making it easier for you to navigate.
If you experience any issues with the accessibility on our site, please contact us on info@cpotential.org.uk.
