No socks for Cousin Kevin this Christmas
You hear a lot about getting back to the true meaning of Christmas and reminding ourselves of what is really important at this time of the year. It maybe reconnecting spiritually or cherishing friends and family. It could be focussing on children or thinking about those less fortunate who are facing an uncertain future. It could be all of these things. We’re guessing you won’t be fretting whether you will get a bottle of aftershave or a scented candle come Christmas morning.
So we want you to consider a present that will last longer than the Christmas pudding, one that will offer a brighter future for children who, through no fault of their own, could use your help. Children like Danny:
Danny started sessions at CPotential a few days after he was diagnosed with cerebral palsy. He could only crawl or bunny-hop on the floor. He was very shy and knew only a couple of words. He needed help and support with everything.
Through our specialist Conductive Education approach he’s learnt how to stand upright and use a walker. Now he can get to where he wants to go quickly and by himself.
Danny is enthusiastic in sessions, his parents are dedicated and we provide the expertise.
But it’s only with your support and (let’s be honest) money that we can ensure the future wellbeing of children like Danny.
So this year be a secret Santa/guardian angel/wise man (or woman) all rolled into one.
You can even tell Cousin Kevin that, instead of socks this year, his present is a drum donated to CPotential that will be used in music therapy!
Thank you so much for your support and a merry Christmas from all of us at CPotential.
