If you’re interested in our integrated rehabilitation services for your child, we invite you to have an informal multidisciplinary online via our telehealth platform. The online assessment will take 45 minutes and the £45 fee is payable in advance.
This allows you to have a chat with us online, see what we do and ask any questions. By assessing your child’s abilities and needs, we can see whether we can offer the right support and development opportunities to help them reach their potential.
When and where will the assessment take place?
We conduct assessments online and we’ll do our best to offer you an appointment as soon as possible.
Who does the assessment and how long does it take?
One (or more) of our qualified clinicians leads the assessment online. Please allow up to one hour for your assessment. It usually lasts 45 minutes.
What do I need to show?
- any relevant documentation, e.g. recent educational and/or medical reports
- any equipment or aids your child uses on a daily basis.
What happens during the assessment?
The assessor/clinicians will ask you to interact and play with your child so that they can:
- observe their mobility, fine and gross motor skills
- see what they can do by themselves and what they need help with.
You’ll be fully involved throughout the process and we’ll be happy to answer any questions you may have.
How soon will my child be able to start sessions?
We’ll let you know within two weeks of the assessment whether we can tailor a suitable therapy plan to meet your child’s needs.
