This month, we’ve had the pleasure of welcoming Joe Karsberg and Soma Fershi, physiotherapy students from City St George’s, University of London, to CPotential. Their dedication, enthusiasm, and eagerness to learn have made a real impact on our multidisciplinary team and, most importantly, on the children we support.
Joe and Soma are with us for six weeks and have been actively involved in therapy sessions, assisting our expert clinicians in delivering tailored and integrated interventions for children with movement disorders. Their hands-on approach and compassionate attitude have brought fresh energy to our sessions, helping to create a positive and engaging environment for the children.
When asked about their experience, Joe & Soma said “It’s great to be here. We went in not having any experience working with paediatrics, and have already learnt a lot. The team here has allowed us to develop from both clinical and non-clinical standpoints. We’ve gained skills to take forward in our own future professional practice.”
At CPotential, we believe in nurturing future healthcare professionals, and it has been fantastic to see Joe and Soma develop their skills while making meaningful connections with the children and families we work with. Their commitment to learning and their passion for physiotherapy have been truly inspiring.
A huge thank you to both Joe and Soma for all their hard work – we know they have bright futures ahead, and we look forward to seeing them thrive in their careers!
