Girl with folded arms for DCP campaign

Disabled children and families need the help of their local MP

Disabled Children's Partnership (DCP)We are proud to be part of the Disabled Children’s Partnership (DCP) – a coalition of over 100 charities campaigning for improved health and social care for disabled children, young people and their families.

On 7 March, the DCP will be launching a new research report in Parliament which will show that lack of support has left disabled children, and their families struggling more than ever before. Parent carers from across the country will be present to share their experiences.

This is why we are helping them to spread the word and call MPs from every party to join them at a parliamentary event to represent disabled children and families in their constituencies. The event will give MPs the opportunity to hear directly from parents and representatives from the DCP.

We need as many MPs to come as possible to ensure varied communities across the country are represented. With over half of parents saying that their child’s condition has gotten worse, we cannot wait any longer – we need political action now.

How you can help

Invite your MP to the DCP Report Launch event so disabled children and families in your area have a voice.
