Early Intervention Pathway (for 0-2 year olds)

Generously supported by Slater and Gordon, Irwin Mitchell, and The National Lottery Community Fund.

Giving Families the Right Start – At the Right Time

We are proud to introduce our Early Intervention Pathway — a new, heavily subsidised service created to support families with children aged 0–2 years who may be facing early developmental challenges. This pioneering pathway is designed to provide personalised guidance, specialist therapy, and emotional support at a critical time in a child’s life — whether or not a formal diagnosis (such as cerebral palsy or other motor disorders) has been made.

Early childhood is a time of extraordinary growth, and timely, expert support can make all the difference. By intervening early, we aim to maximise your child’s potential, reduce long-term barriers, and empower you with the knowledge and tools to advocate for your child with confidence.

Every family’s journey is different, and our approach at CPotential reflects that. The Early Intervention Pathway offers personalised, compassionate support for you and your child during this crucial stage of development. It includes:

1. Early Milestones Telehealth Discussion

A supportive online conversation with a senior clinician to help parents understand and track their child’s early milestones — and feel empowered every step of the way.

2. 12-week Therapy Pathway

This pathway is led by our expert Conductive Education and Music Therapy team, using a well-established, holistic approach that helps children with motor and developmental challenges work toward their full potential.

Your child’s progress will be closely monitored and supported throughout by our multidisciplinary team, ensuring the best possible outcomes and introducing additional therapies as needed.

Sessions will take place weekly at our Centre in Muswell Hill, or can be booked as an intensive block.

Conductive Education and Music Therapy are not typically available through the NHS, making these specialised services uniquely accessible through CPotential.

3. Nurturing Notes: Music Therapy Group

Held on Tuesday mornings, our inclusive music therapy sessions offer a joyful space for emotional connection, sensory exploration, and early cognitive development. It’s a wonderful opportunity to bond with your little one and connect with other parents on a similar journey.

4. Parental Wellbeing Support

You’ll be offered a free 45-minute consultation with wellbeing coach Charlie Lyons from Connect In. This session is a safe space to talk about your emotional wellbeing, explore areas where you may need support, and consider helpful strategies or resources for the months ahead.

5. Legal, Financial and Educational Advice

In partnership with our legal supporters, Slater and Gordon and Irwin Mitchell, families can access a free consultation to explore their current circumstances and identify any legal, financial, or educational support that may be beneficial. This may include guidance on medical negligence, as well as financial planning for long-term specialist care.

6. Family Support Manager

You’ll have the support of our dedicated Family Support Manager, Rosie, who’s here to guide you and signpost helpful resources wherever you need them most. Rosie can also connect you with other families through our friendly parent carer WhatsApp group.
