Nurturing Notes – Music Therapy Group for NICU Graduates

We’re delighted to launch a brand-new Music Therapy group for NICU Graduates

Nurturing Notes are community-based groups seeking to support families and infants with additional needs. The group is targeted towards babies who have spent time in neonatal intensive care units for a variety of reasons including premature delivery, complications at birth, and low birth weight.

Nurturing Notes Poster Our welcoming and supportive groups are run by qualified music therapists.

All sessions are fully funded and free to attend.

Thank you so much to The Toy Project for donating the space for our Nurturing Notes sessions.

Our Group Goals:

  • For parents to connect with other families on similar journeys
  • For parents to play, sing and connect with their babies in a supportive environment.

About Music Therapy in Early Intervention

Music therapy focuses on each baby’s responses and potential for development. Music therapy helps to support the infant’s holistic sensory experience, through gentle singing, active listening and supporting parents to develop confidence in connecting with their little one.

When are the sessions?

Tuesdays from 10.30am to 11.30am.

Where do the sessions take place?

The Play Room, 93 Junction Road, London N19 5QX (see map).

How do I book to attend Nurturing Notes?

Please email appointments@cpotential.org.uk to express your interest in our Nurturing Notes Music Therapy Group sessions.

NB: We’re planning to establish more Nurturing Notes groups in the community, so please still get in touch if you can’t get along, and would like to find out about services closer to you.

Please spread the word to other families you feel could benefit.
