Thanks to our grant from Scope, we can continue our FREE Creative Club sessions until the end of March 2024.

Groundswell Arts LogoLocal charity Groundswell Arts is also still on board to deliver these fun and interactive activities, along with some of their talented artist friends.

All sessions are crafted for children and young people aged 4 and above, with a primary movement disorder. (Depending on the session, younger is fine). Siblings welcome!

Here are our upcoming sessions below, so please get booking these wonderfully engaging and FREE sessions if you haven’t done so already, and spread the word to families who haven’t tried it yet.

Saturday 9th March – 10.30am to 12.30am – Spring and Sushi

NB: For families when booking, please let us know if children have any food allergies or what they can/can’t safely eat, and we’ll try to offer some alternatives for trying things or sensory play.

Plate of sushiJoin Naoko Ishihara for this Japanese-inspired session. Spring is an important time of celebration in Japan synonymous with beautiful Cherry Blossoms and new beginnings. As our winter draws to a close why not come along to the creative club and try your hand at some Japanese crafts and perhaps some Japanese cooking including sushi rolling.

Saturday 23rd March – 10.30am to 12.30pm – Story Lab – Greenscreen Workshop

Groundswell Arts will lead the final Creative Club this term as a pop-up Story Lab. In this session, families will have the chance to make puppets and sets and use iPad filmmaking to create their own Green Screen Films. We then hope to be able to share and celebrate each other’s films at the end of the session. Bring on the popcorn! www.groundswellarts.com . Follow @groundswell_arts on Instagram
