Start Strong: Early Intervention Pathway For Families Now Open

Giving Families the Right Start – At the Right Time

Introducing Our Early Intervention Pathway – Generously Supported by Slater and Gordon, Irwin Mitchell, and The National Lottery Community Fund

At CPotential, we believe that every child deserves the best possible start in life — and that early, expert support can transform a family’s journey. That’s why we’re proud to launch our brand-new Early Intervention Pathway, a pioneering and heavily subsidised programme designed specifically for families with children aged 0–2 who may be facing early developmental challenges.

This new service has been made possible thanks to the generous support of Slater and Gordon, Irwin Mitchell, and The National Lottery Community Fund, and is grounded in one powerful principle: the right support, at the right time, can make all the difference.

Early childhood is a time of remarkable growth and development — but for some families, it’s also a time of uncertainty. Whether your child has been diagnosed with a motor disorder (such as cerebral palsy), is showing signs of developmental delay, or is at risk due to birth complications or other medical concerns, early support can be life-changing.

Through this new pathway, we aim to:

  • Maximise each child’s developmental potential

  • Empower parents with tools, knowledge, and confidence

  • Offer specialist therapies that are often unavailable through the NHS

  • Reduce long-term barriers by supporting families at a pivotal time

What the Pathway Offers

We know that no two families are the same. That’s why our Early Intervention Pathway offers a personalised package of support, combining clinical insight, therapeutic care, emotional wellbeing, and practical advice.

Here’s what’s included:

1. Early Milestones Telehealth Discussion

A one-to-one online session with a senior clinician to explore your child’s development, answer your questions, and help you track milestones with confidence.

2. 12-Week Therapy Pathway

Led by our specialist Conductive Education and Music Therapy teams, this holistic therapy block focuses on helping your child build motor, cognitive, and emotional skills. Sessions take place weekly at our Muswell Hill Centre, or can be arranged as an intensive block.

Note: Conductive Education and Music Therapy are rarely available via the NHS — making this an exceptional opportunity to access expert care at an affordable rate.

3. Nurturing Notes: Music Therapy Group

Held on Tuesday mornings, these joyful group sessions promote bonding, sensory play, and early communication. Open to all parents and babies on the pathway — and completely free.

4. Parental Wellbeing Support

You’ll receive a free 45-minute consultation with wellbeing coach Charlie Lyons (Connect In) — a safe and supportive space to explore your own emotional wellbeing and strategies for balance.

5. Legal, Financial and Educational Advice

Thanks to our legal partners at Slater and Gordon and Irwin Mitchell, you’ll have access to a free consultation to explore your legal rights, financial planning needs, or educational guidance — including support around medical negligence or care funding.

6. Family Support Manager

Our warm and knowledgeable Family Support Manager, Rosie, will be on hand to help you navigate resources, offer encouragement, and connect you with other parents via our friendly WhatsApp group.
