Please raise your glasses (of orange juice) to toast our first fabulous fundraiser of 2018.
Andrew Whelan has pledged not to not drink any alcohol for a whole year in order to raise £2,018 for us.
Andrew, who is managing director of iC2 CCTV & Security Specialists (UK) Ltd, says: “I decided I could do with a ‘dry year’ to both help an amazing cause and, at the same time, do some good for my health.
“I first heard about CPotential when I attended the Giggle and Give Gala Dinner in November. I think what you do to help the children achieve their potential is brilliant and the support you give to their parents.”
Andrew, whose favourite tipple is red wine, says: “So far I feel great. I imagine it’ll be hard at social events when people say “what are you having?” but then it will be a great opportunity to explain what I’m doing – and to encourage friends, family and clients to contribute towards my target.”
